Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served our community since 1975: over 50 years of continuous, dedicated service. We are 100% volunteer and 100% donation-funded, receiving no tax revenue of any kind. As a 501(c)3 charity, all donations to us are tax-deductible.
Our members are trained to the same rigorous standards as any community fire department. With three stations and 13 trucks, we cover over 110 square miles of rugged canyon terrain, responding to structure fires, wildland incidents, medical emergencies, and more. All because neighbors choose to serve neighbors.
